GeoVille has been appointed by Infoterra GmbH as distribution partner for TerraSAR-X data in Austria. Terra-SAR-X is due for launch on October 31, 2006 and will provide radar data world wide with unprecedented accuracy.

The Basilicata University (Italy) and Telespazio have signed a Joint Agreement paper for mutual cooperation with the objective of the development of important research and educational projects in the field of tele-monitoring, thus allowing wider usage of modern techniques and scientific information for the environmental monitoring. Government of Papua New Guinea (PNG), funded by the European Union to
set-up and implement a Geological and Mineral Resource Information
System (GMRIS) at the Department of Mining (DoM).
