We are excited to announce that we have closed a $1.7 million Seed round. The round is led by leading climate fund Pale Blue Dot and joined by Powerhouse Ventures, Techstars and Futuristic.vc. In addition, we are announcing our rebranding: 20tree is now Overstory!
The core focus of this next phase is the accelerated roll-out of our vegetation intelligence platform, using machine learning to interpret satellite imagery and climate data. The platform helps electric utilities to reduce the risks of wildfires and power outages. We believe this is a fundamental step towards our mission: monitoring all natural resources on Earth in real-time. To facilitate better decision making about nature and towards building climate resilience.
