The Swedish governmental agency “Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency” in cooperation with the US Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate invite you to the first Euro-Atlantic Stakeholder Conference (EASC09), which will be held in Stockholm 1-2 October 2009. The goal of the conference is to advance societies´ preparedness and resiliency against a broad spectrum of threats by effectively communicating research needs, capabilities, innovative technology and conceptual frames among stakeholders (www.easc09.se).
An exhibition area will be available for stakeholders to display cutting-edge societal, homeland security solutions and ideas.
This conference is organized back-to-back with the Forth European Security Research Conference (SRC09), which will be held at the same venue in Stockholm 29-30 September, bringing together more than 1,200 representatives from research, industry, European institutions, public authorities and other stakeholders for the security of Europe’s Citizens. This event will be organized under the Swedish Presidency of the European Union (www.src09.se).
