TNO Space acts as joint cross-sectional operation between all five core areas, set up to support innovation in the international space community. TNO has a long track record – over 30 years – of space developments and projects. Most of our projects are carried out in alliance with ESA and Dutch space-related programmes, with various components and systems selected by the international industrial players. At home, we have formed partnerships with other Dutch players in the space field.
TNO is a partner in launching, in orbit and for applications (like earth observations), and active in the upstream as well as downstream sector. TNO is participating in the Dutch Technology Transfer Programme.
