FP7 Information Days

List of FP7 events and links which might be of interest to EO Industry from DG

– On 1 February 2007 DG INFSO will hold a Networking Day on European ICT research and development in Cologne, Germany. Participants will be able to learn about the priorities and procedures for the ICT Work Programme 2007-2008, as well as to network with potential partners for building a project symposium, notably in the fields managed by our unit: ICT for the Environment and ICT for Energy Efficiency. – Our unit is currently preparing an Information Day which will be specifically dedicated to FP7 opportunities in 2007 in the fields of ICT for the environment and ICT for energy efficiency. This event is scheduled for the 21st of May 2007 in Prague (CZ). It would take place back-to-back with the International Symposium on Environmental Software Systems (ISESS 2007, May 22 – 25, 2007, web . More information will follow beginning of 2007.

 

– A “GEO-related” Information Day will be organised by DG RTD in Brussels on 15 January 2007. The main focus will be on FP7 opportunities for Earth Observation research activity under Theme 6 “Environment”. Some Earth Observation related activities supervised by other Commission services, including DG INFSO, will also be presented (e.g. GMES, Support to Research Infrastructure, ICT for the Environment and INSPIRE). – Register as an expert in view of FP7 evaluations/reviews. The call for experts for the seventh framework programme will be soon officially launched depending on the adoption and entry into force of the Seventh Framework Programme. Meanwhile, the expert registration process is already made operational from the web
