VEGA wins ?—2.4m Aerospace contracts

VEGA Group PLC (VEGA), the independent Programme and System Assurance Company, has won ?—2.4m worth of new and extended contracts as part of its work with the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC).

 

VEGA has extended its existing Combined Spacecraft Control Operations System 1 (CoSCOS1) contract until the end of 2006 ?± with the option of a further three years work. In total the project will be worth ?—2m. CoSCOS1 is a support service for a combination of several mission systems including CLUSTER; ENVISAT; ERS2; Mars-Express MPS; and the SCOS1 infrastructure.

 

In addition, VEGA has been appointed to upgrade the Mission Control Systems (MCS) for CLUSTER and ENVISAT until the end of their planned missions, in a deal worth ?—400,000 over the next 18 months.
