EARSC 2024 Start-Up Awards
Who can join?
Are you an Earth Observation Start-Up based in the EU or an ESA Member state that is less than five years old? This is your chance to shine!
Here’s how it works:
- Nominate your Start-Up if you believe it matches the below criteria and believes it deserves recognition.
- Using the below criteria, the EARSC Secretariat will select 5 Start-Ups which will be given the opportunity to pitch live at EXPANDEO 2024.
- At EXPANDEO 2024, after the live-pitching, the audience will serve as the jury, electing the ultimate Start-Up champion.
Deadline for submissions: March 15
Evaluation criteria:
The Start-Ups will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Innovation and impact: the Start-Up showcases an innovative approach (e.g., innovative solutions, ideas, advancements in EO technology, etc.) and has the potential to have a positive impact on society and the environment (e.g., the products or services contribute to sustainability, environmental conservation, help address global challenges, etc.) .
- Financial sustainability & promotion: the Start-Up has shown growth in revenue and/or personnel and is showcasing effective and coherent promotion of the start-up and its products.
