What is an RSS feed?

RSS feeds allow you to receive updates from websites without having to visit each site to see if there is new content.

Using RSS feeds you can now receive the latest headlines from EARSC as soon as they are published.

How do I start using RSS feeds?

To receive RSS feeds you need a news reader. This software checks RSS feeds from all over the world and lets you read any articles that have been added to them. There are many different kinds of news reader, some are accessed via a browser, while others are downloadable applications which automatically deliver feeds to your PC or portable device. We have included links on the right to a few popular ones. Each works in a slightly different way so please consult their instructions.

Once you have installed your chosen news reader, you can start to search your favourite websites and to subscribe to receive updates on the subjects that interest you.
