Job Offer: SpaceTec Partners – Senior Consultant – Programme Management

SpaceTec Partners is a strategy, management and communications consultancy group based in Munich and Brussels. Our broad array of services includes strategy and technology consulting, communication activities, and interdisciplinary project management mainly for public institutions (e.g. European Commission, European Space Agency, European GNSS Agency, European Parliament, National Ministries, etc.) in the space and space applications domain. SpaceTec Partners further engages in venture capital and provides business coaching for start-ups and SMEs.Our fast growing team is seeking an experienced programme management professional with 3-5 years of professional experience in managing interdisciplinary programmes with many diverse stakeholders – in the European Space Programme and beyond. 

Key tasks

  • Developing a delivery team in a long-term perspective with operational rigour, and state-of-the-art software tools to assist in workflows and processes
  • Managing by project performance metrics
  • Handle operational programme management and support to the project director
  • Interacting with clients, partners and programme stakeholders

Desired skills & experience

  • Programme management skills in an international environment, ideally EU service or framework contracts
  • Proven interest to also engage in content and execution
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Autonomous, self-starter, fast learner, flexible, organised, meticulous
  • Ability to work independently and yet to work effectively and nicely in a team
  • Strong academic background
  • Fully fluent in English
  • EU citizen or permanent EU residence/work permit
  • Flexibility for occasional international travel (mostly day-trips)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite

Any of the following additional skills would be a plus

  • Experience in the use of project management and CRM tools
  • Experience in EU programme administration, reporting and proposal preparation
  • Knowledge of the aerospace and/or security sectors and their context (satellite applications, UAV/RPAS, robotics, civil protection and emergency management)
  • Working knowledge of a second or more European languages, e.g.: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch …
  • Interest in shaping a career path in Programme Management
