This new site is built around a powerful, map-based project search for Research Potential and Regions of Knowledge projects funded under FP7, including options for drilling down to the regional level within a country, displaying all the partners in a country or region, and displaying the details of any individual project.
In European research development, ensuring that all regions can fully contribute to the whole through the exploration of their capabilities and collaborative efforts remains absolutely essential. During the seven year period of the European Union’s FP7 Programme (2007-2013), plans will be drawn up to support the development of research capabilities among its member states. The Research Potential and Regions of Knowledge initiatives of the FP7 lay a foundation for building a brighter future through research innovation for the participating regions of Europe.
