A pan-European research project – called Impact Monitoring of Mineral Resources Exploitation – has resulted in a great deal of knowledge in novel remote sensing tools and methods.
During ImpactMin project the Consortium developed a training curriculum that is accessible in the next couple of weeks, free of charge at this website:
Some of the topics:
- Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAV) and usage;
- High resolution WorldView2 and airborne hyperspectral (HSI) surveys;
- Change detection techniques based SPOT – VEGETATION and Landsat imagery.
We are inviting you to learn about our goals and objectives and how the three-year-long project responded to those challenges in terms of satellite and airborne data collection and processing.
The ImpactMin Consortium is happy to offer this possibility. We are looking forward to your feedback via email or on our LinkedIn site: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/impactmin-project/61/59a/808
