In more than 20 years of operation, GeoVille has established a broad international client base through more than 450 projects worldwide.

In order to strengthen our team we are looking for a motivated Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Innsbruck / Austria, full-time for the implementation and support of projects and operational geoinformation services in GeoVille’s Technical Department.

The position covers the scientifically and technically sound development of innovative analytical solutions and automated processing chains for geodata analysis and large-scale satellite image processing.


— University degree (MSc), preferably in the fields of natural sciences or information technology, as well as a minimum of 1 year professional experience or a comparable postgraduate education
— Good knowledge in satellite remote sensing and image processing (optical, SAR), GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and programming (Python, R)
— Knowledge of image classification, data analytics and statistics
— Experience in big data processing, deep learning and cloud computing advantageous
— Interest in working with international project partners and clients
— Reliable and good communication, reporting and presentation skills
— Languages: English mandatory (B2), German desired but not mandatory
