Maciej Krzyzanowski

Chief Executive Officer at CloudFerro

Graduate of Physics Faculty at the University of Warsaw (1989) and PhD in particle physics (University of Warsaw, 1995). Scientific researcher at Warsaw University and Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron in Hamburg within the frames of multinational scientific teams.

Maciej is Chief Executive Officer of CloudFerro, Polish technological company that he created in 2015. Along with two other experienced managers, Maciej is responsible for the development and growth of CloudFerro’s cloud computing capabilities for the local and European markets. With his hard work, he was able to lead the company in the acquisition of major projects in the European EO market, including EO IPT Poland and CREODIAS platforms, latter of which continues to develop and grow by 20 TB of Copernicus EO data per day.

Prior to CloudFerro, Maciej was Chief Executive Officer of Poland’s largest data center operator, ATM S.A. He began as a sales director in 2002, steadily advancing the corporate hierarchy, which led him to the position of Chief Operating Officer of sales and operations in 2009. Over the next three years, the company experienced record profits, leading to the promotion of Maciej to Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Towards the end of 2014, Maciej decided it was time to use his experience and knowledge for a new project – CloudFerro.
