GEO – EARSC


news

EARSC is playing a very visible role in preparing the upcoming GEO plenary in Canberra. We are co-hosing an EU-AU networking event around the Melbourne cup (‘the race that stops a nation’), and we have ensured prominent speaking roles for our delegation in the EO Industry Leadership Dialogue – Industry and GEO, and at the EC cocktail event. We are additionally speaking at the GEO and the Pacific, Valuing Earth Observation, and GEO Value Workshop side events. You can see all of these along with all other GEO Plenary and Industry Track events here. EARSC will be joined by a European delegation including Airbus, Deimos, Earth-i, e-GEOS, Planet, Serco and VITO.

On the 20th of September 2019, the PARSEC Accelerator launched its first Open Call for applications. The Accelerator invites all SMEs, start-ups and aspiring founders keen to develop Earth Observation-based (1) innovations for the Food, Energy or Environment sectors to apply. Applications should be submitted before the 20th of December 2019 at 17:00 CET. Winners of this Open Call will receive €10.000 equity-free funding and access the PARSEC Accelerator business ecosystem and support services.
